The Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA) was established in December 1976 by a group of enthusiastic Asian Christian university presidents, who under the auspices of the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia (UBCHEA), decided that there was a need for a formal association.

How to apply

Applicant Qualifications

1. Be registered in a full-time degree program at one of the SMS participating institutions.
2. Have attained a cumulative Grade Point Average of not less than 2.50 on a scale of 4.
3. An average scores on Student Labor Education must above 70.
4. Attend courses taught in English: TOFEL 550+ or iBT 70+ / Attend courses taught in Japanese: JLPT N2+

Scholarships

There are two types of subsidies listed below. The participants can apply for both types of financial support.

1. Living Expenses Subsidy: From 300 to 500 USD per month.
2. Travel Subsidy: Up to 750 USD.

*These are indicative amounts and the final decision on the amount of a subsidy awarded to each applicant will be made by the Executive Committee.

Fall Semester Enrollment: February 15. (the result will be announced on early May)/ Please contact OIR before the end of December.
